Using your own personal experience write a few lines that describes how a personal contact has provided a creative opportunity for you?

Ok so my personal experience was quiet long time ago...I did a small diploma course with a radio station called RADIO FIZA in forest fields. I have learnt how to work with radio how you make an advert for radio but of course that was small experience that I did. There what did a lot of practicing interviewing people outside? I went out and did a survey with people about the radio station that how many people listen to radio fiza and one more good thing that I got out of that place was that for really good experience they took us to BBC news channel in Nottingham I met the new presenters myself and at that time they about to go on air to do the news so we watch how they put news on air..How many cameras they used lights sound. Basically I come to know that when they are presenting a news papers they have front of them are just notes they actually read front of the screen where the actual news is.if u watch news u see presenter will be looking right at the camera right under that camera there is a screen which is showing the news and our presenters read that and speak. from there I thought that I would love to work for media news channel I wouldn’t mind as I believe that keeping up with news is good it keeps in you in touch with the outer world what’s happening around you etc. then I do passion for working within film industry to. And lets see where I end I up as am still in of learning processes and by middle of this year I will be sure what I want go into.

The essential point of networking is human contact. Business has killed networking by making it for the career orientated person....

There are different way of communicating with people now a days with time style of communicating has changed .before there weren’t many opportunities where people could network and get their job done but with time people changed more education started with that we had educated people who invented technology human being made things easier. More and more technology came in handy we invented telephones, computer, mobiles, and each has a quality of networking. There are so many way where u can communicate with each other as in face to face is one way of networking then there is mobile you can either ring and talk or send a text massage, computers is the most reliable one now days people do all sort of stuff there you can sit home and do your job, you have emails to pass your massages on. One more is msn messenger which is live chat with friend’s family. To look for job you should have contacts in right places e.g. looking for job in T.V it is not easy to get in media you should first of all find out do you know anyone that worked or know another member that work in that field speak, ring around, send CV’s .in today’s advanced world you type a company name and the details will be front of you then see have they got contact number if yes then contact them send your details online 95% of companies do online application forms for jobs and it’s so easy to send your details with a professional written letter and CV.
I disagree that business has killed the networking because if you look at it because of different type of business there are different jobs available. Then there are job agencies that help you to find a right job with the right people you get their contact details and can speak over the phone or via email.
Myself since i have started this course I have been networking with people that might help me to get far in this business so what I did I used internet searched places in TV channels and tried to look for a work experience during summer time I got around GEO TV of Lahore ,now they have TV channel nearly everywhere in the world so I emailed them and requested that if I could get help and do some work experience during summer coming .their recruitment manager who deals with things like that emailed back and has said to me that they only do work experience in Pakistan but as for you we will try to arrange something that is suitable for you, but if I go to Pakistan I should be able to work there for at least a month and I think that would be a great experience with them as GEO TV is one of the best channels from Pakistan. So that is one way of networking I have also spoke to one of my friends who is a fashion designer here in England she design her own clothes, does dance classes and fashion shows in part of countries for that I have asked here that if I would be able to shoot one of her shows for her which she is agreed to so whenever the next show takes place I will be taking part in shooting and photography.
Different types of business made life easier for every time of person, and it has not killed networking instead it has made life easy.not for just people with career but for thoese who dont work e.g. house wife.teenagers.older people etc.

23rd October 2008 interview parctice

Today in seminar we are told to do a interview as a parctice for our project documentary that we have to make near chrismas time ..that documentary can be based on anything that we like but we have to make sure that the subject interest the audience..this documentary will be made in as a group project and each group we have 4 to 5 people....each person has to play a different role as for me i am the reseracher for my project .... our documentary is based on homeless people .We knwo that alot of documentaryies has been made for homeless people in the past, but director of this project who is also the writer aswell for this documentary said that we have to bring out the point that not every homeless person is a junky and worthless..which i agree with because everyone human being have different situation in life which they face and go through the problems...as for today seminar we played around with camera ,light,sound, and we did three ineterviews in two hours from eachother in the group..we asked basic question for e.g. what did you get up to during summer? also what we did for a good change everytime we changed the guest interviwer we also swap jobs aswell. i think it was a very good expirence for us to get ready for our main project and also the mistakes we did today we know not to repeat them in future.
