PROJECT 2

My project two has got the videos and pixilation that i have made myself it represents me because thats my own ideas my own work and i have put my effort to create that piece of work.i ave made a flash box that has five itme so i thoguth why not put some thing that started from my first video which is funny love that was created when i was in college that was teh first piece that i came out with i was the director and idea was mine i have got my own intials on the logo i have 2 pixilation one video and picture of my avatar.

Explanation

In my earlier post for KHUDA KY LIYA i put next to the trailer that this film has made me think alot of question and few people asked me what i meant by that and what sort of questions.

film has got alot to do with muslium religion and what happened on 9/11 there was alot of things that i did not know such as is hijaab have to worn no its not, then i was told we shouldnt listen to music i always had objection against that because i dont see why cant we listen to music , then does men have to have a beard and wear shalwaar kameez the answer was no you dont have to have all thoese things to look like a muslium i always thought that was just wrong information and there are people out there that create a bad image of islam its very simple religion to follow i dont know why people make it sound so complicated .i did my own research there is nothing wrong with listing to music i dont have to wear a hijaab to look like a good muslium girl i believe in myself so i dont have to do things like to prove anything boys dont have to have a beard it all up to you we have choice God hasnt put any strickt restriction on us and there are still more things that i want to find out about and thats what i meant by that i have question in my mind.

i love the way pakistani culture is love the idea of clothing im in to fashion and i love finding out whats happenign in world of fashion these are some clothes from fashion designers in pakistan who really popular for their work.

i really love watching films , it doesnt matter what sort of film it is romantic,comedy,thriler, etc i have to watch it just to find out what of directing has been done what storyline has been used ,whats good and whats so bad about it,

This film is about the difficult situation in which Pakistanis in particular and the Muslims in general are caught up since 9/11.There is a war going on between the Fundamentalists and the Liberal Muslims. This situation is creating a drift not only between the western world and the Muslims but also within the Muslim community. The educated and modern Muslims are in a difficult situation because of their approach towards life and their western attire. They are criticized and harassed by the fundamentalists on the other hand the western world sees them as potential suspects of terrorism just because of their Muslim names.This paradox is resulting in great suffering for a forward looking Muslim. This is the theme of the film 'Khuda Ke Liay' which in English means "for god's sake!". Since it is meant for the South Asian market, the title was misinterpreted from its original name which was written in the Urdu script.The interesting thing about this film is how it connects the happenings in three continents, unlike the usual Indian and Pakistani films based on romantic sagas, dances and songs, this film is based on some very serious issues, raising controversial questions engaging Muslim minds these days.

Discussion on pakistani directors

Ok so fair enough i had really bad views about films made in Pakistan even though its my own country but seriously i do think they have made one film that is good enough to sit and watch and waste 2 to 3 hrs of your life... but now my opinion have changed since i have watched KHAMOSH PANI aka SILENT WATER which is a international name for the film in English of course and second film was KHUDA KE LIYA both films are so good that i could not believe they are actually our Pakistani films made by Pakistani directors.they have done a great job and deserve a award for that which they have of course.

films actually have a good story lines and no songs thank God for that. Silent water is about a women in Pakistan who got separated from her parents during the time of war between India and Pakistan there is a secret to ayesha's life who is the main character in the film and really scared about her son finding out about it. and whats that secret people have to watch the film to find out. people might think its documentary film forget watching but it actually worth watching. there so many things that our people of Pakistan blind to and need to know about this might help.

KHUDA KE LIYA: A perfect film i loved it, Shoaib Mansoor wrote a a very nice story so much hard work. The film is about the difficult situation in which the Pakistanis in particular and the Muslims in general are caught up since 9/11. this film do have songs but to a limit of course people aren't running around trees and singing songs for no reason, film is about relationship,hate ,love, betrayal
