FLASH TOM AND JERRY

I think my flash film which was based on story of Tom and Jerry wasnt good at all but knowing that it wasnt now i know that in future i have to work hard and make it better then now .. there were alot of problems in my flash one of them was when i made the story plot it didnt make sense at all buttons were all over the place and nothing was working in order. then from my teachers i was told that i might have to do this again..and i have start working on a new project already which will be ready any time soon.i do learn from my mistakes and mistakes that i have done in the past i will try not to make them again and thats how i like to change things.

Evaluation for One Shot Film

Our one shot film we didn’t do any editing as we were told that we are not allowed to cut any parts or edited the film at all. We have kept our film the way it was original copy we didn’t edited scene on the film.
For a start we made file for everything for example music, video, pictures etc then we made a title folder to keep everything in one file. Choosing a music track for our film we tried a lot of music tracks but nothing really satisfied us and then we used a track from Dejanu – alone in the dark he is an unsigned artist. Like I said we haven’t edited the film but we have put some graphics to make the film look better to instead of cutting thing out we have put some thing in the film to make look bit good for example credits and where we put words around the screen to show our words properly so everyone can see what the board says clearly. If you can’t see what my board says TAKE we have put graphics around to make it clear.
All of the people in the group had different targets to do:
Director of the film was Bina
Camera Man was Ryan
Location Provider was Sonia
Our location of the film was Goldsmith student halls
Editing was done by Bina, Sonia, Ryan, Sonia and myself
Input myself, Bina, Sonia, Ryan, Sonia
Music was chosen by Ryan and Bina

This film is 1 minute and 40 seconds long in total.

Here Is A Surprise...

I had two ideas for my pixilation film one was a guy cooking the other one was an adult snatching sweet from a little kid which I will be making soon just for fun. I thought it would be funny but didn’t have time for that so another one was here is surprise of course a guy cooking in the kitchen so I went with that.
The main reason I came out with this idea because you don’t see many guys cooking or cleaning. The whole theme of the film is that there is guy sitting at home getting bored he cant think of anything to do. He is hungry so why not cook something and eat. Next scene you see him in a kitchen with a knife ready to cook. I think it looks quite original when you see a guy cooking. O tried to come out with original ideas and that’s what comes in my mind. Plus I have seen a lot of movies that have been filmed in a hallway of student accommodation so I don’t wanted to give my film very student look. I know first time isn’t always the best. is my first time making a pixilation film and I know first time isn’t always the best. I wasn’t in a group because I missed out on the introduction day and it was too late for using someone else’s work so I have worked owns my own.

One Shot Film

For our course work we have been given a target to make a one shot film. Based on anything we like to make it has to be 1 to 2 minutes long and not more then that. It has to be done as a team. In my group I have in total 5 people.
We all had different ideas e.g. a person writing in a diary what happened earlier to them that day. (one photograph)
someone goes tot he shops buys scratch card, then massive finger points down from the sky saying "it could be you!!" the person screams with excitement as they won £5.
all of us at night on top of a roof of garage's have a flash light, soon as someone walks past point flash light at them following them down the street then end short film with a slogan saying something LIKE " avoid benefit fraud we know who you are!"
Borrow the fruit and vegan stall outside bonnington building act as though we are selling fruit and vegan. Short, sweet and simple.
in Waverley building have a camera running filming us all, whilst we act out that we are filming our short film.
YOU'VE BEEN TANGO'D.YOU'VE BEEN STELLA'D.(any drink).some one walks out of a shop holding a drink can opens it takes a gulp, then you see someone just run past out of no where punches or slaps the person shouting you been TANGO'D, STELLA'D etc. ha-ha
Someone does graffiti on a wall, play it backwards so looks like instead of spraying graffiti on the walls the graffiti is being taken off by the spray can.
STORYLINE.
· have the camera on a tripod go to the GOLDSMITH COURT HALLS (sonia's halls as they have 6 floors and a suitable lift)
each and everyone of us will be making our own A3 sign board with individual words on.5 big sign boards need making which will read "WHY NOT TAKE THE STAIRS!" so the lift will start at the bottom ground floor gradually move up a floor as the doors open to each floor a sign board will read an individual word which will eventually lead up to a sentence to give us our storyline.
· SONIA: sign board reading WHYSANZ: sign board reading NOTANDLEEB: sign board reading TAKEBEENA: sign board reading THERYAN: Camera-man also you have to make the sign board for floor 5 reading STAIRS!

And finally we decided on one idea which was the lift one. We all decided to take part ion the film only one of us was shooting the film and rest of us took part in the film.
We made some card board signs with different words on them. Each time lift opens you would see a sign on each floor in total we had about 5 signs and because the 5th person was filming our one team member who was Sonia had run on the 5th floor and shows the last sign. Our signs were WHY NOT TAKE THE STAIRS…
The person with the camera stood in side the lift and we went on our floors and stood out side the lift and every time lift opened he filmed us.
To make our film better and good we made the film 3 time and decide to keep the 3rd one without any editing and cutting parts and all of us were really happy with our work we make sure we did our job properly and our one shot film was ready.

Why i wanted to do media and what i wanted to achieve

I have always been interested in media. How camera works how people make films. How does it feel to make something really good which everyone likes and feel proud? I wanted to be a journalist but slowly slowly I realized that I wasn’t much of a good writer. I was more into making films, watching films and writing comments, desgining etc.
Knowing there is too much competition in the world of media I still choose to do this course because I like challenges, plus in this course I get to learn a lot about films animation design, so I thought it would be a good idea to do this course and learn more.
By the time I finish this course I want to be able to work towards making my own films or I would like to go into event management like stage design.

Whiteboard

We did the whiteboard exercise on our first day of introduction. I was really confused about the whole thing as it was quiet new for thing for me because I never done anything like that before. When I was put in group nobody what was really we wanted to make it was just a little exercise to kill some time and make us to get use to team work and getting use to the equipments.
Out is the 3rd one where there is a sum coming out there is a tree and a monkey with a coconut, the sun gets bigger and bigger but after a while we thought this isn’t getting any where, so we decided to give the sum arms and eyes teeth he is looking really evil as it gets out more it gets more evil and evil then there is box with wings, as soon sun gets out and reaches the tree to eat the monkey out box explodes,
Everything gets destroyed monkey dies; I think it was quiet funny because you won’t find a killer sun like ours and a flying box.
